Data collected
- Contact form: name, email, your message, your stated goal. Kept for the duration of the exchange and up to six months afterwards.
- Free learning resources: email address, consent status, and the page where you requested the resource. Used to deliver the requested guide and a short sequence of practical Russian-learning tips through Resend. You can unsubscribe using the link in any follow-up or by replying. Kept until you unsubscribe or for up to 24 months without engagement.
- Booking: name, email, scheduled time. Processed by Cal.com on our behalf.
- Payment: when applicable, processed by Stripe. We do not store payment details on our servers.
- Analytics: page views and interaction events such as contact-form and booking-funnel actions, via the self-hosted Umami service at insights.draftedby.com. Form contents, names, and email addresses are not sent to product analytics.
- Chat: messages you send to the site assistant and an optional email copy. Chat messages are processed through OpenRouter and its selected model provider so the assistant can respond. If you request a copy, Cloudflare Email Sending delivers it.
- Error reporting: technical diagnostics such as the affected page, browser information, and error details, processed by Sentry to keep the site reliable.
Purposes
Reply to enquiries, deliver requested learning resources and opted-in Russian tips, provide chat answers, deliver booked lessons, measure site usage, diagnose errors, and detect abuse. Data is not sold and is not used for advertising profiles.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest for follow-up and site security. Consent for learning-resource emails and any analytics that are not strictly necessary.
Retention
Contact messages and requested chat transcripts: up to 6 months after the exchange. Booking and payment records: as long as required for service, accounting, and tax purposes. Analytics and error records: according to the configured retention periods of Umami and Sentry, reviewed periodically and kept no longer than necessary for those purposes.
Your rights
Under the EU GDPR, you have the right to access, correction, deletion, objection, and portability. Email [email protected] with a clear request. Reply within one month.
Cookies
The site does not use advertising cookies. Umami is configured as cookieless analytics. Cal.com, Sentry, or embedded service providers may use technically necessary storage to operate their features; their own privacy terms also apply when you use those features.
Service providers
The site uses Cal.com for scheduling, Cloudflare for traffic delivery and transactional email, Resend for consented learning-email sequences, Umami for first-party analytics, Sentry for error monitoring, OpenRouter and its selected model provider for chat responses, and Stripe when a payment link is used.
